Jesse Vazquez, Jr. President HDI San Antonio

Please join us in congratulating Jess Vazquez, Jr., Andeavor, as he assumes the role of President of the HDI San Antonio Local Chapter Board of Directors.  Per our chapter bylaws, Jesse was unanimously approved by the Board to fill this role.

Jesse has been actively involved on the HDI San Antonio Board since 2013.  He has served as VP of Programs, VP of Membership, and pretty much every role on our board being instrumental to our success. He has demonstrated over and over again, his ability to leverage his vast network to bring exciting programs and events to our community.

In one of his first official actions, Mr. Vazquez made a few changes to our Board roles.  Jason German, iHeartMedia, will move into the VP of Programs role.  If you were at the Cybersecurity Panel Discussion Event last week, you will have a good idea of just how powerful a move this is.  Jason took an idea and turned into a first class event that was well received and highly rated.

Jason was also the author of the famous whiteboard, the listing of program ideas you may have seen in an earlier post.  We are very excited to have Jason German driving programs for the HDI San Antonio community.

Jesse has asked Bernard Beaullieu, Beaullieu & Associates, to take on the VP of Communications role in addition to his Finance responsibilities.  The entire HDI San Antonio Board will share ownership for marketing local HDI Certification Classes.

Rounding out our Local Chapter Board are  Rosana Mason, CPS Energy, VP of Events , James Nelson, CGI, VP of Vendor Relations, Annita Hereford-Crump, Capital Group, VP of Social Media and Heather McCabe, Apex Systems, VP of Membership.

As always we thank you for your support, are very focused on serving you, and look forward to seeing you at our August 16th Event, Best Practices for Blending People Process and Tools presented by Anthony Orr, accomplished ITIL Author/Expert.

Congratulations to Doug Rabold for being elected to an HDI National Officer Position!

Congratulations to Doug Rabold for being elected to a HDI National Officer role.  Doug will serve as President of HDI District 3C, covering the New York and Canadian HDI Local Chapters effective June 1, 2018.  As part of the transition to the HDI National Officer role, Doug has had to step down from his HDI San Antonio Local Chapter Board position.

Our HDI San Antonio Local Chapter Board of Directors met during the last week of May to develop a transition plan to fill the President’s role and continue to grow our local chapter and build on our progress.

We thank Doug for his service over the last 4 years and look forward to his continued participation in the HDI San Antonio Local Chapter.

We will announce our new HDI San Antonio Local Chapter Board of Directors President and other changes shortly.
