We all know the tremendous benefits of recognition and the positive impact it has on our teams. The HDI Awards Program is a prime opportunity to recognize the superstars on your support team. We have two awards programs: Service Desk Analyst of the Year and Desktop Support Technician of the Year.

Your company may nominate up to two people in each category. This quality program is FREE and a benefit of your HDI Membership (the Analyst and Technician do not have to be a member). HDI San Antonio has an outstanding program in place for the Awards Program, with top-notch judges scoring candidates and selecting San Antonio’s top support analysts. Last year’s local Desktop Support Technician of the year winner, David Saenz, CPS Energy, went all the way to the finals and was recognized at the HDI national conference.  Take a look at how CPS Energy celebrated David's achievement:

All nominees and their managers will be our honored guests at our Annual Awards Luncheon on Thursday, December 3, at Maggiano’s at The Rim.

2015 HDI San Antonio Awards Program Timeline:

  • Nomination deadline - Monday, November 2
  • Recorded interviews with each nominee – November 9 - 13
  • Judging and scoring – November 13 - 19
  • Awards Luncheon at Maggiano’s – All nominees will be honored and the winners announced – Thursday, December 3

HDI Knowledge Centered Support & Problem Management Certification Classes Coming to San Antonio this Fall

We are pleased to announce that we are bringing both the HDI Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) and Problem Management Certification classes to San Antonio this fall.  We are working on finalizing the logistics for these great classes. We will be announcing the dates and location for the classes in the next few weeks. We’re planning on holding the KCS class in October and Problem Management Certification class in November.

HDI Releases New Versions of Certification Standards for Technical Support Professionals
